This 158 room hotel, close by the historic centre of Krakow, follows the great success of Jestico + Whiles’ Andel’s Hotel and Andel’s Suites in Prague. The design develops the core principles established by the previous Andel’s of style and comfort, with respect for the specific requirements of the traveller in this part of the world.
The design and detail makes reference to the locality, using the best locally sourced materials. Warm, textured, riven stone lines the rear of the reception, contrasting with burnished metallic shells enclosing the restaurant. The shells interlock to locate and define zones, establishing set routes and views through the building, while allowing space to flow freely.
